Drivers have been facing a free-for-all in Grenfell Road this morning.
The traffic lights at the busy junction with Grenfell Place failed and there were no emergency traffic control measures in place just after 8am today.
Update 11:20am:
A spokesman for the Royal Borough said there has been a failure with electronic equipment within the traffic controller.
He added the contractors are there, but will have to go and get some parts before retuning to fix the lights.
No more information is available at this time.
