Schools and businesses are being urged to sign up to a rainbow themed mufti day.
The event is due to be held on Friday, May 16 and has been organised by charity Rosie's Rainbow Fund, which could face closure this year if it is unable to boost finances.
Rosie's Rainbow Fund provides sick children with music therapy and support to their parents.
Charity spokesman Amanda Ayres said: "People think that it's easy to raise money but it isn't, especially for small charities."
Individuals are required to pay £1 to dress in rainbow.
