An Easter fun day was held at Larchfield Community Centre in Desborough Park on Friday, April 18.
Youngsters were entertained with bunny bingo and an egg hunt, but it was 12-year-old Emily Kinsella who stole the show.
The year seven pupil at Cox Green School had the sides and back of her head shaved to raise more than £1,100 for Cancer Research UK and she donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, which makes real-hair wigs for children suffering hair loss.
"It's for children my age, or older, or younger that lose their hair because of a disease," said Emily, who reduced many of the watching crowd to tears as the clippers went to work.
