A drama club is appealing for a young actress to play an important role in its summer production.
The Maidenhead Drama Guild needs someone to play a 17-year-old girl, Dorcas, in 'A Penny for a Song'.
It is an open-air play being performed at Berkshire College of Agriculture from July 8-11.
Director Jenny Evans says that many of the guild's teenage actresses are busy revising for their A-levels during the rehearsal period.
She describes the play as 'Dad's Army in Napoleonic times' and that a gap-year or GCSE student could be perfect for the role.
Rehearsals start in April, but this could be pushed to May to suit the right candidate.
