Some of the first concept images from the new owners of the Mill Lane opportunity site in Taplow have been revealed.
Berkeley Homes showed proposals for the 43-acre site last week at exhibitions in Taplow Village Centre and Maidenhead Rowing Club.
The firm announced the purchase last month after it had acquired the site in January.
One of the most eagerly awaited announcements was plans for the derelict former Skindles Hotel.
These new images show an outline for a new brasserie or restaurant with views over the Thames towards the Grade-I listed Maidenhead Bridge.
Elsewhere, the area of the former St Regis mill buildings will be transformed with new apartments and a riverside promenade, leading to a boardwalk path for pedestrians and cyclists through a nature area.
The boardwalk would connect with a new footbridge crossing to Boulters Lock, which Berkeley says it is committed to providing.
It also says Grade II listed Glen Island House and Mill Island House will be conserved and brought back into residential use.
Berkeley intends to submit a planning application this summer and plans to have another exhibition before then, following feedback it receives from consultation with residents.
