A new supermarket will find out if it can sell alcohol from 6am when the Royal Borough's licensing sub-committee meets on Wednesday.
Tesco, which is taking over the former Golden Harp pub on the junction of Furze Platt Road and Courthouse Road, has applied to sell alcohol between 6am and 11pm, seven days a week.
The sub-committee is meeting at 6.30pm at Norden Farm in Altwood Road.
The supermarket has been the subject of a lengthy campaign of opposition from neighbouring residents.
