A former Sir William Borlase's Grammar School pupil has graduated as a Royal Air Force officer.
Rob Daniell, 22, trained for the role at the aircrew cadet training unit at RAF College Cranwell in Lincolnshire and now holds the title of Flying Officer.
The keen sportsman, who grew up in Maidenhead, joined the RAF in April last year and will begin his professional training as a pilot with 16 (R) Squadron at the college.
The microbiology graduate said: “Commissioning as a junior officer in the RAF is certainly the proudest moment of my life so far."
He added: "My focus is now on the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead which I am thoroughly looking forward to."
