A post mortem examination of a woman found dead in Maidenhead yesterday has proved inconclusive.
Police were called to a property in Mulberry Walk at 8.17pm where they discovered the body of a 41-year-old woman.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held in police custody.
The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, underwent a post mortem this afternoon which proved inconclusive.
Toxicology tests have now been requested by the pathologist.
The investigation into the death is still being treated as unexplained and a police cordon is still in place at the house.
