The walls of The Rendezvous Café have been brought to life by the work of 124 Studios.
It is the first time the group of eight artists has displayed its work at the café in Maidenhead Town Hall and the exhibition includes a visual manifesto putting forward its search for a permanent studio space.
"It has been good," said member Harriet Brittaine. "It seems people are interested in what we are doing.
"The café is nice space but it's got a use at the same time.
"People feel quite happy going into the space whereas galleries can be quite intimidating.
"It has very distinct styles on very different themes. There's a large variety of media from marbling to oil paintings."
The exhibition runs until Monday, March 31 and the café is open between 8.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays.
