Drivers travelling along the M4 have been told to expect delays of about 15 minutes due to a lorry fire heading westbound.
The lorry is on fire between junctions 7 and 8/9 and three lanes are currently closed.
Conditions are expected to return to normal by about 4.30pm.
Police are reporting the fire is now out and the lorry is now on the hard shoulder.
The matter has been handed over to the Highways Agency, which is due to begin reopening the lanes shortly.
All lanes are now reopened.
Three crews from Maidenhead, Langley and Slough were called out to the incident at about 3pm and remained at the scene for an hour.
The lorry, a car transporter, was completely destroyed but the driver was uninjured.
The cause is not yet known.
