A series of fantastic swims has seen Katie Crowhurst claim five gold medals at the DSE Junior Disability Championships.
The Maidenhead Marlins swimmer was competing in the s13 category and took the top medals in the 10-13 years age group.
Representing the South-east Region Katie swam 2mins 14.53secs to win the 100m breaststroke, 42.53secs to take the 50m freestyle, and won the 100m freestyle in 1.39.23 and the 50m backstroke in 52.01. She also won the 400m freestyle in 7.11.48.
“A big well done to Katie Crowhurst who put in a series of fantastic swims at Ponds Forge,” said Marlins’ head coach Paul Lloyd.
Katie has been selected for the national Spotlight programme, a talent identification scheme. Lloyd said it was fantastic for Katie and the Maidenhead Marlins.
