Borough council staff rolled up their sleeves for a residential litter-pick in Boyn Hill.
Community warden Trish Canziani initiated Monday's clean-up on Boyn Hill Road in Maidenhead and roped in Cllr Paul Lion (Con, Boyn Hill) and John Levitt from the borough's street care team.
Fellow community warden Matthew Barry and Boyn Hill resident Mike Holness also lent a hand.
The team also worked to cover up graffiti on lampposts.
Paul Lion single-handedly filled a bin bag with litter in an hour which contained a large number of empty beer cars.
He said: "There were some alleyways that were a bit grubby."
