There was no batter way to spend Shrove Tuesday than taking part in the Maidenhead and the Windsor & Eton pancake races.
BCA overcame reigning champions La Roche in Maidenhead while Café Rouge beat Waitrose Wenches in the Windsor final.
Advertiser reporters Luke Matthews and Paul Miles won the fancy dress competition in Maidenhead while Horse Show Hoofers (Horse Power) were best dressed in Windsor.
Funds raised in Maidenhead will be donated to disability sports club SportsAble.
Donations from the Windsor race go to the Royal Borough’s Flood Relief Fund and the town’s Christmas lights appeal.
