Arabic -inspired art has caught the attention of passers-by at Maidenhead Town Hall this week.
Langley artist Javaid Hameed has about 25 paintings on show in a new exhibition which has been two years in the making.
It opened on Monday with the 45-year-old saying there has already being some positive feedback.
"This is something totally different which is not typically exhibited in galleries," said Javaid on his collection of paintings.
"Even while I was putting them up, there was quite a bit of interest and people asking questions about the work."
The exhibition will take place in the Rendezvous Cafe at the St Ives Road venue until Thursday, February 27.
