Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Andrew Jenner, was guest of honour on Friday, January 24, at Barratt Homes' Brunel Gardens site where he unveiled its entrance plaque.
The development in Malvern Road includes 32 affordable houses as well as 84 private properties.
Prices start at £394,950 for a three bedroom mid-terrace house.
Furze Platt Junior School pupil Tanisha Bhogal, 10, who won the competition to name the new development which she chose as Brunel Gardens, was also invited to attend the event.
