Schools prepare for the Farmhouse Breakfast Week

Children will have fun with their food during the Farmhouse Breakfast Week.

From tomorrow, primary school pupils across Berkshire will discover the importance of a healthy breakfast through tastings, games and growing their own crops.

Buttercup, a wooden cow, will also be on hand to help explain how and where food is produced.

Maidenhead schools involved are Ellington Primary School, Cookham Road, and White Waltham C of E Academy, Waltham Road.

The workshops are run by the Newbury & District Agricultural Society.
