A group of volunteers will form a new police complaints panel.
It will be independent and will evaluate how Thames Valley Police handles complaints.
The PCC said that ‘national concerns over police integrity’ have created a need for an independent body to challenge the police on ethical issues.
This, he says, will maintain the public’s confidence in the police.
He is encouraging people in the Thames Valley to apply to sit on the panel.
To apply, visit www.thamesvalley-pcc.gov.uk.
