Budding athletes struggling to secure a spot in April’s London Marathon may be in luck.
Sense, the national deafblindness charity, currently has 40 guaranteed places for local runners.
Tara Hamdi, Sense’s National Events Manager, said: “The London Marathon is one of the world’s greatest but getting a place can be difficult, so Sense wants to give local runners the chance to run.”
Register online at www.sense.org.uk/londonmarathon or call 0845 127 0063 before January 20.
