The case of a 36-year-old woman accused of making a false allegation about a chemical attack in Braywick Park in Maidenhead has been committed to Reading Crown Court.
Katherine Franklin, of Heathcote, appeared at Slough Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice.
The first charge relates to an assault allegation involving a stranger pouring caustic soda on her at the park, in Braywick Road, on October 4 in 2012.
She is also charged with making a series of false crime reports between July 1, 2011 and October 5, 2011.
Franklin was granted unconditional bail and is scheduled to appear at the crown court on April 28.
