Timmy the chihuahua has romped home to victory in the Summerleaze Veterinary Hospital's festive pet competition.
Over the past three days, Advertiser readers have been voting for their favourite entry for the competition, which asked owners to send in pictures of their animal getting in the Christmas spirit.
Timmy polled a massive 34.2 per cent of the vote, surging ahead of runner-up Barney the basset hound on 16.9 per cent.
Spike the lizard was third with 12.8 per cent of the vote.
The poll attracted hundreds of votes as readers chose their winner out of 11 finalists.
Timmy's owners will receive a hamper from the vet, filled with treats for both humans and pets.
