A fresh round of strikes is being held by members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU).
Its members, including those in Berkshire, will strike on Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm on both days.
The FBU is in a national dispute with the Government over changes to pensions and working arrangements.
The Berkshire and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) said it has put contingency arrangements in place.
Chief Fire Officer Andy Fry said: "We will still answer and respond to 999 calls, although we will be prioritising 'life critical' incidents, such as house fires and road traffic
collisions where people are trapped."
A number or walk-outs have already been staged this year.
