DIY enthusiasts are being called to help out with making nesting boxes.
A group of helpers are looking to expand the owl population by placing nest boxes at strategic places in the countryside.
They have the sites, materials and a workshop, but need more helpers to make the boxes before Christmas.
They are looking for 'handy people', preferably with power drills and screwdrivers, to give up a bit of time.
