Members of a group lobbying to move Oldfield Primary School to Bray Road marched from the school's current site to the town hall, where they presented their 800-person petition to councillors.
The Oldfield Action Group is made up of parents and residents who support the proposed £9 million move.
Although the Royal Borough has looked at alternatives, the group say Bray Road is the only option as it does not require complicated compulsory purchases.
Opponents say the move is unjustified as it involves building on the flood plain and greenbelt.
Nearly 200 people joined the walk at the Chiltern Road site on Monday. They arrived at the town hall half an hour later. The petition was presented to Cllr Derek Wilson (Con, Oldfield), the chairman of Maidenhead's development panel.
The development panel will make a decision on the move when it holds a public meeting on Wednesday, December 11 at the Holiday Inn, Shoppenghangers Road at 7.30pm.
