Runners from eight Maidenhead primary schools braved the cold weather to compete in a cross-country running competition.
Pupils from Courthouse, St Luke's, St Mary's, St Edmund Campion, Cookham Rise, Furze Platt Juniors, Manor Green and Oldfield primary schools ran in the event held at Altwood School on Thursday, November 21.
Sixty youngsters completed a one kilometre course around the grounds of the school in Altwood Road.
Emma Seabridge, PE teacher at Altwood, put on the event with assistance from 25 Altwood pupils.
The year 10 and A-level students organised the warm-up, marshalling and time keeping.
Furze Platt Juniors took home the team title for the quickest combined time, with year five pupil Marco Borkovic winning the year five race.
St Mary's boy Alex Okonkwo won the year-four event, with Elliot Lowe from Cookham Rise winning the year six category.
