Majestic Wine's new store in Maidenhead is officially open for business.
Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Andrew Jenner, cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony on Friday at the site in Bath Road close to Castle Hill.
Majestic Wine was previously located at the Bishop Centre in Taplow before its demolition and the Royal Borough initially refused the application by Tesco Stores Ltd in December due to concerns over inadequate parking at the site.
Observations found that car parking was readily available, even during peak hours, and the council's development control panel gave resubmitted plans the green light in August.
The merchant, founded in 1980, specialise in selling wine by the case.
