Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue received four calls during their industrial strike action this morning.
None of the calls during the two-hour period of strike action between 6am and 8am needed a fire engine to attend.
Andy Mancey, acting assistant chief fire officer, said: “Once again, we would like to thank members of the public in helping us by not calling us unnecessarily.”
There were nine appliances available this morning if needed.
