A new landlord has taken over The Crown in Burchetts Green.
Simon Bonwick has been in the hospitality trade for nearly 30 years and aims to provide high quality simple dishes with 'meticulously' sourced ingredients in a welcoming atmosphere.
The chef previously worked at the Bull & Butcher in Turville and at the Black Boys Inn, Henley and has spent the last two years in private service.
The 44-year-old has now been at the pub for two weeks and has been giving the venue a makeover.
"We have had a nice response from the locals, who seem lovely," said Simon.
"We run a very tight ship and we are quite experienced, which is going to be our strength."
