Maidenhead can often seem a little dead on a weekend afternoon but never before has it been inhabited by the undead.
Scores of zombies took to the High Street on Saturday for the town's first zombie walk - a type of Halloween flash mob where people dress-up and turn out in force to surprise the public.
Zombie reincarnations of Elvis, weddings brides and doctors gathered at Maidenhead train station before groaning and stumbling their way to an after party at the Maiden's Head pub in High Street.
