Plans to build 16 new homes in Cookham have been approved by the Royal Borough.
The Shanly Homes application to demolish Payton House in Gorse Road and replace it with two, three and four bedroom homes was accepted by the borough’s development control panel last night.
The construction of new units at the Cordwallis Industrial Estate was also given the go ahead.
The panel also approved plans to remove unauthorised fly-tipping at Downfield Tip in Waltham St Lawrence and to restore the land for the use of keeping horses or cattle.
The meeting took place at Maidenhead town hall in St Ives Road.
