Home Secretary Theresa May celebrated diversity with members of the Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum (WAMCF) at its annual dinner.
Held at the Desborough Suite in Maidenhead Town Hall, about 80 members enjoyed the WAMCF Diversity Dinner.
People brought dishes in to share with the group and about 20 different dishes were on the menu.
Eight different faiths were had stands at the event as did representatives from the Chinese and Oriental Society.
The Maidenhead MP wore a traditional punjabi salwar kameez and spoke at the event.
WAMCF chairman, Karnail Pannu, said: "It was absolutely wonderful."
President of the forum the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Andrew Jenner attended as did Deputy Mayor Cllr John Lenton and Deputy Mayoress Margaret Lenton.
Founding member Dr Mike Bruton also came from Oxford with his wife, Valerie, to enjoy the evening.
