Cake eating and chatter is the sole activity at a new club held in Maidenhead town centre.
Maidenhead Cake Club is welcoming new members to attend their weekly meet-ups held every Tuesday from 2-4pm at St Mary's Church Hall in High Street.
The club was set up by retired friends Vivien Lee and Dorothy Strack, an idea inspired by The Great British Bake Off.
It's aim to give people who love eating and baking cakes the opportunity to socialise, bring along their creations and share their recipes.
Vivien, who lives in Bramble Drive said: "We set it up because there is a lot of people who like baking, but if you bake something then you've got it for the whole week."
"We thought we'd encourage people who don't have anyone to bake for to share what they've made."
Contact Vivien on 07802 183198 for information.
