A pair of mayors and one deputy mayor brought civic lustre to Saturday's meeting of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
More than 7O people attended the East Berkshire MS Society get together at Legoland Hotel in Windsor. They included the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cll Andrew Jenner, Mayor of Slough Cllr Balvinder Bains and Deputy Mayor of Bracknell Cllr Denise Hamilton.
The MS Society, MS Trust and MS UK plus ten other charities and organisations set up stands.
Healthy eating, exercise and the Functional Electronic Stimulation (FES) device that can assist those with walking difficulties were all discussed.
Jan Bloomer, committee member and the branch event organiser, said: "Our branch area now covers Maidenhead, Windsor, Bracknell, Ascot and Slough and we have 280 members, but we know there many more out there with MS that are unaware of the support network available to them through our branch."
