The Royal Borough hosted a three-day exhibition at Braywick Nature Centre to show the public their plans for the Stafferton Way link road.
More than 300 guests arrived to discuss the £3.7m plans which aim to ease congestion in Maidenhead and will make use of a £2m grant from the Department of Transport.
The exhibition ran from Thursday until Saturday at the centre in Hibbert Road.
Cllr Geoff Hill (Con, Oldfield), cabinet member for highways and transport, said: "There were many constructive suggestions.
"We are reviewing the responses at the moment and they will help inform the planning application due to be submitted in November."
