Proposals to introduce a one-way access in to Moorbridge Road from the A4 are due to be discussed at a Maidenhead Town Forum meeting tonight.
The proposition is only at an outline stage but was described as a 'non brainer' by forum chairman Cllr Philip Love (Con, Belmont) ahead of the meeting, who added he hoped to move the plans forward if they are well received at the meeting.
Royal Borough highways, strategy and traffic manager Ben Smith is also due to give a update on plans to introduce a link between Stafferton Way and Oldfield Road after a public consultation was held last week and Cllr Claire Stretton (Con, Boyn Hill) is to discuss proposals for the possible revamp of the Desborough Suite at Maidenhead Town Hall.
The meeting will take place at the town hall, in St Ives Road, from 6.30pm.
Log on to read a report of the meeting tomorrow.
