Maidenhead Heritage Centre will explore the history of a Pinkneys Green estate in Maidenhead.
The Clarefield Estate is the name given to the land on the corner of Marlow Road opposite Pinkneys Farm.
A manor house stood on the land for several hundred years.
A talk held at the centre in Park Street on Thursday, October 10, will look at former uses of the building including when it became a gentleman's residence and then a hospital in 1947.
In the late 1950s, 34 properties were built on the land and the large house was demolished.
Modern housing now occupies the whole estate.
The talk, led by Tony Stock, will begin at 12.45pm.
