A group of Italian women have been visiting the Royal Borough this week as part of a link between Maidenhead and Frascati.
In 1965, the Maidenhead Women's Group for European Friendship (MWGEF) co-founded the European Friendship Circle to encourage friendship between Maidenhead and its twin towns.
Every year MWGEF hosts a women's group from one of the towns.
The women from Frascati were welcomed on Tuesday morning by Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Andrew Jenner, at Maidenhead Town Hall.
The Italians were due to be taken to London's Albert Hall, Henley for afternoon tea and were due to visit Windsor on Thursday.
