A dramatic change in the Singapore skyline can be seen in this recreation of an old family photograph by two Maidenhead born sisters.
Julia Hensey, who now lives in Flackwell Heath, was visiting her sister Clare in Singapore when the pair set out to find the exact spot where their father John sat with his brother Michael in 1957.
John, who lives in Compton Drive, Maidenhead, and Michael, who lives in Middlesborough, were both completing National Service when the snap was taken.
It marked the first time the brothers, now 77 and 78, had seen each other in a year. Both pictures show what was known as The Fullerton Building in the background.
John said: "I didn't realise it would look so built up.
"An old colleague said I would be very disappointed if I went back."
Clare and Julia also attempted to find their father's former camp in Singapore to discover it had turned back into jungle.
