The fine-dining restaurant within the Macdonald Compleat Angler hotel in Marlow is due to close at the end of November.
Aubergine opened at the hotel located next to Marlow Bridge in October 2008 by London Fine Dining Group who worked in partnership with MacDonald Hotels.
A spokesman for Macdonald said: "With the original agreement reaching completion, London Fine Dining Group has decided to focus on its central London restaurants."
Macdonald is reviewing its options including interest from other leading restaurant operators.
