Timmy Mallett was among the special guests at a coffee morning hosted by the Mayor and Mayoress of Windsor and Maidenhead last week.
The children's TV star, who lives in Cookham, was among the visitors to the Council Chamber in Maidenhead Town Hall, in St Ives Road, as part of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday.
Royal Borough town crier Chris Brown was also in attendance, while musical duo the Retros kept everyone entertained, raising £59.30 for children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent in the process.
In total, the event raised £450.45 for Macmillan and the Mayor, Cllr Andrew Jenner, and his wife, Julia, extended their thanks to all those who contributed.
Cllr Jenner said: "Raising over £450 was a tremendous effort and I know that this will go a long way towards helping Macmillan Cancer Support carry out its vital work to assist the many people living with this disease."
