The wait is almost over for the winner of the Express-backed Bright Idea challenge prize to be announced.
A team of judges including representatives of the Royal Borough, Express editor Martin Trepte and chat show king Sir Michael Parkinson gathered together at Maidenhead Town Hall on Tuesday to go through more than 80 entries to decide the winner.
The £20,000 challenge had asked people who live or work in Windsor or Maidenhead to come up with an innovative solution to a problem which effects the area.
The winner will be announced by town crier Chris Brown at about 11.30am on Tuesday at Windsor Guildhall after Sir Michael leads a presentation of trophies and prizes inside the council chamber.
A first prize of £800 is up for grabs, with two runners-up receiving £400 and £250 respectively.
The rest of the £20,000 pot will be used to create and implement the best ideas.
