A firefighter has said that two women had 'the luckiest escape' he had ever seen after their car careered off the M4 at junction 10 near Wokingham at about 9pm last night.
The Renault Clio veered off the carriageway, through roadside trees and into fence posts.
One post went into the car’s engine and the other smashed through the windscreen – missing the driver by about an inch.
The two women in the car, aged in their 20s, incredibly escaped unharmed.
