Proposals to build a new swimming pool at Newlands Girls' School are among the plans due to be discussed at a Royal Borough planning meeting next week.
Councillors will meet at Maidenhead Town Hall on Wednesday to discuss plans to build an enlarged pool at the school, in Farm Road, as a replacement for an existing pool at the site.
The pool would be used primarily by the school but would also be made available for swimming lessons for the wider community, including disabled users.
Changing rooms, a store and plant room for pumps and equipment would also be installed as part of the plans.
Officers have recommended approval of the plans, subject to conditions.
