Firefighters were called to Rushington Avenue on Saturday after a resident called them to report a deer was trapped in their next door neighbour's swimming pool.
Crew manager from Maidenhead Fire Station, Marcus Lewis, said the pool was shallow, but deep enough that the animal could not escape on its own.
"It didn't have the strength to pull itself completely out of the water," he said.
"It put its hooves up and we were able to pull it out."
"We stayed with it and within 10 minutes it was up and running around again."
The animal was then returned to the woodland behind the property.
