A London-bound commuter train which calls at Maidenhead and Twyford has been named in the latest list of the most overcrowded trains in England and Wales.
The 7.09am service from Henley-on-Thames to London Paddington, which calls at Twyford at 7.21am and Maidenhead at 7.30am, has been named ninth on the Department for Transport's (DfT) latest list of the top 10 most overcrowded trains.
The figures, which cover autumn 2012, show the Henley service was running at a load factor of 149 per cent - nearly one-and-a-half times its capacity.
But the 7.44am service from Henley-on-Thames to Paddington, which came out on top in the figures for spring 2012 with a load factor of 184 per cent, has dropped off the list after operators First Great Western increased capacity by 50 per cent.
