The new landlord of The White Horse pub in Maidenhead High Street is bursting with enthusiasm to turn the old watering hole into a vibrant community pub.
Matt West can't wait to create an atmosphere that will appeal to music lovers, students and families.
However, he doesn't want to lose the community feeling embedded in the pub by a long history and band of loyal regulars.
"As a barman at the White Horse I could always see the potential that this landmark pub holds," he said.
"I have always believed that the White Horse should be a community pub and now I have the chance to promote it as such.”
"We have an amazing team here who genuinely love this community," he added.
"I am so excited to be working with them and the many dedicated and energetic people who are trying to continue to bring new life to Maidenhead and the High Street in particular.”
