The pavilion is in prime position for visitors using the playground or sports facilities close-by and will be open seven days a week.
Braywick Nature Centre in Hibbert Road will open its new garden cafe on Saturday, providing a range of summer activities for children and families on the day, alongside some light refreshments.
The cafe will be open Tuesday-Sunday throughout the summer holidays between 11am-4pm.
