Providing a friendly atmosphere and staging different events every night of the week is the aim of new Maidenhead landlady Nikki Smith.
The 24-year-old took over the 'pub with no name', formerly Noctors, in December and has overseen a major refurbishment of the town centre site including a new bar.
A new name is also set to be given to the Queen Street pub later this month when punters will have the chance to compete for prizes by guessing what it's being called.
Nikki has been helped along on her business venture by mum Peggy who has run The Rose pub in King Street for more 13 years.
"I love it," said Nikki.
"I enjoy it because I have been brought up in pubs.
"We are trying to make it a bit more friendly and more for everybody."
Among the new events hoping to attract customers is an open mic night which takes place every Tuesday from 8.30pm.
