CCTV images released after vicious town centre assault

CCTV images of men police want to trace following a vicious street assault in Maidenhead have been released more than three months after the victim was attacked.

An argument between a 24-year-old man, who was with his girlfriend, and two other men started in the Oven and Grill takeaway in Queen Street at 1.30am on March 16.

The boyfriend was attacked by one of the men opposite the Travelodge after all four had left the takeaway.

The victim, who is from Maidenhead, suffered a broken nose, fractured cheekbone, injured jaw and broken tooth.

Thames Valley Police today issued images of two men it wants to speak to in connection with the attack.
