New members are being sought for Maidenhead and District Arts Council (MaDAC).
The executive of the organisation, which was set up to represent the different arts clubs and groups in the town, is encouraging anyone with an interest in the arts to step forward and help.
"It is an exciting time for the arts in Maidenhead and, amongst other things, MaDAC has the opportunity to influence the regeneration of our town," said chairman Carol Hennessy.
Possibilities the arts council is looking into include upgrading facilities at the town hall's Desborough Suite.
MaDAC does admit individual members, including everyone from visual artists to musicians and performers.
It has started holding a series of open forums where members can discuss local arts activities and opportunities as well as ways to help each other.
Its AGM is set to take place on Tuesday, July 2, from 8pm at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts.
