Police arrest two more Slough men after Kamran Maman murder

Police have today confirmed the arrest of another two men in connection with the murder of Kamran Maman.

Mr Maman, 36, of Brammas Close, Chalvey, was dragged from a car and seriously assaulted in the same street at 3am on May 18.

He died in John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on May 20 as a result of his injuries.

A 25-year-old man and 19-year-old man from Slough have been arrested on suspicion of murder. The former has been bailed until July 8 while the latter has been remanded in custody.

A total of 21 people have been arrested, with 16 arrested on suspicion of murder and five people arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, in relation to the case. A 22-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder was released without charge.

Leon Baptiste, 23, of Hull Close, Cippenham, and Aiden Wall, 25, of Camberley, Surrey, have both been charged with murder and have been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on September 2.
